How to Download and Install Keychron Assist

macOS

1. Click "Quick Start". 

2. Click "Download" to get the installation file.

3. Once the download begins, click the download icon in your browser and wait for it to complete.

4. When the download is finished, click the downloaded file to open it.

5. Open the installation package.

6. If a warning note appears, click "OK" to proceed.

7. Open System Settings. 

8. Select "Privacy & Security" from the sidebar.

9. Scroll down and click "Open Anyway" next to the blocked app message.

10. Enter your Mac password and click "Allow" (or "Modify Settings", depending on system version).

11. Click "Open" to confirm.

12. In the installer, click "Continue".

13. Click "Continue" again.

14. Click "Install".

15. Enter your password and click "Install Software".

16. Once the installation is complete, click "Close".

17. When prompted, you can choose either "Keep" or "Move to Trash" for the installer file—both options are fine.

18. Go back to the Quick Start page in the app, toggle "On" to enable the Assist features.

Windows

1. Click "Quick Start". 

2. Click "Download" to get the installation zip file.

3. Once the download begins, wait for it to complete.

4. When the download is finished, click the downloaded file to open it.

5. Right click the zip file and click“Extract All Files” to decompress the installation package.

6. After decompressing, double-click the installer and click the "More info" button.

7. Click the "Run anyway" button to begin installation.

8. In the installer, click "Continue".

9. Click "Continue" again.
