Awesome budget board with Alice Layout

You’re not missing out here, the build quality is solid despite being ABS plastic. The keycaps are solid, switches are solid (factory lubed I believe). Placed an order and it was delivered within 4 days (might differ for you). Overall a solid board with lots of potential for upgrades. For $104 fully assembled, Keychron did not miss!

Best Ergonomic Keyboard I've Used

I have always wanted to go the mechanical keyboard route, but with carpal tunnel it was difficult to find an affordable, good quality, programmable, and mechanical, ergonomic keyboard. As soon as I saw the V10 with the Alice layout I knew this was the keyboard I needed. The build quality is second to none, being a plastic board I was worried it would be too light/wobbly but this is just as heavy and sturdy as an aluminum chassis. The keychron keycaps feel and sound great with the Glorious Panda switches I installed (thanks to the hot-swappable design). Seriously, fantastic job Keychron! Already planning to get a v8 to travel with ;)

Glad I Waited

Very good. The stabs are well lubed. I got the full build with the red switches. I tested with some Akko matcha green switches and the board sounds awesome. A gripe I do have is that it’s a bit of a reach to the esc key if you have small hands like me. Otherwise, I’m happy with this purchase and look forward to getting new switches.

OSA Profile Double-Shot PBT Keycaps

These double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and has an SA-like shape. We named it the OSA (OEM spherical angled) keycap. The PBT keycaps will provide excellent oil resistance, enhance the type feel, and prevent the legends from fading out.

Get the V10 keymap working on VIA

Since the VIA code for the V10 is still awaiting approval from Github, it is not yet automatically recognized, so you will need to manually download and import the V10  keymap.

To get started, please follow the steps: Download the appropriate kemap JSON file below, open VIA, turn on "Show Design tab" on "Settings" tab, enable "Use V2 definitions (deprecated)" on the "Design" tab, and drag the JSON file into the “Design” tab on VIA to get the V10 keymap working on VIA.

Hot-swappable

The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change the switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.

South-facing RGB LED Lights

The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle with the premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the users install OEM or Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the keyboard.

Pre-lubed Keychron K Pro Switch

By optimizing the switch mold, the K Pro switch wobbles less than a standard mechanical switch and feels smoother on each hit. Plus, the factory pre-lubed process on all the K Pro switches (exclude the clicky ones), no doubt this will ensure the best smoothness at your fingertips when typing.

The screw-in design increases stability and makes it easier for changes and upgrades. Precise craftsmanship makes the stabilizers more stable and less shaky. The big keys’ (space bar, shift, enter, backspace) typing experience is now more stable and smooth. The Keychron V10 also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.
