The Q16 HE 8K uses advanced Tunnel Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensors, offering exceptional accuracy and ultra-high sensitivity. Unlike mechanical switches, which depend on physical contact, TMR Hall Effect magnetic switches use magnets to detect key presses. It is effortless to swap out the switch with compatible Hall Effect magnetic switches.

NORTH-FACING RGB
The North-facing RGB is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle with the premium non-shine-through ceramic keycaps installed. The North-facing RGB is also free from interference when the user installs Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on their keyboard.
