Sign in to Keychron with your Google Account
A Keychron account is where you check your orders, track shipments, save addresses and manage returns on keychron.com. You can open that account with your Google Account instead of typing a one-time code from your inbox. This page explains who we are, what we ask Google for, and how to take that access away again.
Who we are
Keychron started in 2017 with one product idea: a wireless mechanical keyboard made for Mac users, because nobody was making one. The K1 went to Kickstarter in 2018 and the company grew from there. Today we design keyboards and mice, sold on keychron.com, through official stores in more than 30 countries and regions, and through authorized retailers in over 60. Every model works on Mac, Windows and Linux.
Two things define what we build. The first is the switch. We make mechanical keyboards for people who care about feel and sound, and magnetic Hall effect keyboards where you set the actuation point yourself, so one keyboard serves both typing and competitive gaming. The second is openness. Most of our keyboards run open source firmware (QMK, and ZMK on the Ultra series), every key can be remapped in the browser through Keychron Launcher, and we publish the full CAD files for more than 100 models on GitHub so the community can build on them. We build for people who make things, and the keyboard is yours to change.
More than 5 million people use a Keychron. Along the way we have run 17 crowdfunding campaigns, the K2 HE was a CES 2025 Innovation Awards honoree, and the Q1 Max won Best Gaming Keyboard at the 2024 European Hardware Awards.
What we ask Google for
When you choose "Continue with Google" on account.keychron.com, Google shares three things with us:
- your name
- your email address
- your profile picture
That is the whole list. We do not ask for access to your Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar or anything else in your Google Account, and we cannot see your Google password.
How we use it
Your email address is what identifies your Keychron account. If an account with that address already exists, Google sign-in opens it. If not, we create one for you. Your name and picture appear on your account page so you can tell it is yours.
We do not sell this information and we do not hand it to advertisers. It is stored by Shopify, the platform that runs our store, under the terms in our Privacy Policy.
You stay in control
You can remove Keychron's access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Your Keychron account and order history stay where they are, and you can keep signing in with an email code instead.
