Simply connect the K1 Pro to your device with a cable, drag and drop your favorite keys or macro commands to remap any key you want on any system (macOS, Windows, or Linux).
Check out the video above demonstrating how to remap the Light Effect key (located on the K1 Pro’s top right corner) to an Eject key with the VIA software, so you can get a shortcut to put your Mac to sleep (Command-Option-Eject), or even remap the fn key in a breeze. It’s never been so intuitive and flexible to personalize your own keymap.

Get the keymap working on VIA
Since the VIA code for the K1 Pro is still awaiting approval from Github, it is not yet automatically recognized, so you will need to manually download and import the K1 Pro keymap.
Please download the keymap JSON file below. Connect your keyboard and device with the provided cable, and toggle the switch to cable mode. Open VIA, click on the "Show Design tab" on the "Settings" tab, and drag the JSON file into the “Design” tab on VIA to get the K1 Pro keymap working on VIA.

I have a few high-quality keyboards from different manufacturers that I use for my gaming, but I find myself clumsy while typing with them, and they are quite loud—and I mean it, LOUD. I needed a quiet mechanical keyboard with a small footprint for my daily programming. The K1 Pro is by far the BEST keyboard I have ever worked with. The size of the keys and the distance between them make it perfect, especially when it comes with a MacOS layout, which I can also use for my Linux machines.

I had always hoped Keychron would release a K1 Pro. They made so many other versions of the K1, I didn't know if it would ever happen. But now we finally have a low profile TKL in the pro series, and it's great! I just wish they offered other keycap sets like they do for some of their other keyboards. Not ABS keycaps, just other colorful PBT sets. I'd even just take a full black set. Hopefully they offer them in the future.
I realy like this keyboard.
I feel is harder to make typos compared to the K3 v2. I decided to go with the K1 Pro instead of the K3 Pro and it's going to to take time to adjust to the new layout, but the feeling and shape of the keys is definitely better.
