nice keyboard

Overall, very pleased with this keyboard. Couple things to know. There are no feet on the back, and the extreme thinness means the keyboard sits very flat. So flat it may be uncomfortable for some. I wish it had some pop-out feet. I ended up having to attach a couple rubber feet to the back of the keyboard to get an angle I liked. Adding these feet does slightly ruin the aesthetic, but it was necessary for me. The buttons also angle away from you, which is a bit strange. The button angle has no impact on the typing experience though. The different light effects are pretty useless imo. The typing experience is very nice. I think it is better than the standard logitec or apple keyboards I've had before, MUCH nicer than any other portable keyboard I've used. Would recommend it with a few caveats.

Good relation price quality

The keyboard has good quality, good sound, good separation between keys,... In the future probably I will buy a different keyboard (from keychrone), just to test it, but this one is so cool. Enjoying while typing!

I’ve been avoiding buying a mechanical keyboard not just because of the feel but also the look. Keychron nailed them both. Waiting for a Mousechron :)

K1v4 - Just fantastic

New to the whole mechanical keyboard environment - Alice’s rabbit hole to say the least - and not knowing different, bought the K1v4 to start. Not disappointed at all. Nice weight, feel, look and operation. It just works as advertised, and paIred without issue.

“Which way do I go?”, asked. Alice.
“Where are you going”, asked the Cheshire Cat.
“I don’t know,” replied Alice.
“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go....”

Excuse me while I plan to overcapitalise on an over spec mech project keyboard.....

Everything but the keycaps

Wireless is good. Backlight is good. Battery life is good.

The only thing I would think about improving is the quality of the keycaps. Since they're low-pro gaterons, it's impossible to find any keycaps that fit. As such, you're stuck with what Keychron provides. The keycaps feel cheap and lightweight. That's the only improvement I can think of.

Other than that, the keyboard is great. I have a MSI GK50 at work, and while not great, their keycaps feel a little better. It might just be a preference, though.

The K1 has included keycaps for both Windows and Mac operating systems.

What's new on K1v4:

Bluetooth 5.1.
Curved keycaps with mixed color scheme.
Added Caps lock indicator on 87-key keyboard.
Added 104-key white backlight keyboard.
Added brown switch option.
