The features this board provides at this price point are hard to beat. Especially if you need the wireless functionality.
I do not regret the purchase of this board at all.
Still this board is not perfect. What I'd love to see improved are:
Keycaps: The stock ABS keycaps feel horrible to me. I replaced them after one day because I couldn't stand the feel. I'd gladly pay for PBT with proper legends.
Onboard Remapping: A way to remap keys and/or create layers without relying on software on the host PC, like custom firmwares like QMK enables you to do, would make the value go through the roof!
Sound: While typing on the keyboard the case sounds pretty hollow. On disassembly you can confirm this for yourself (and fill the voids with foam to fix this 😉)
I was watching out for the German ISO keyboard K2 for a while. Unfortunately it took around a month untill they stocked it up.
One week ago I finally received the mail telling me that there is an option available.
From there on it alle went perfectly fine. You can easily reach out for them via Instagram for personal contact.
The social media guys told me that it might take them 4to 6 weeks to deliver the keyboard to Germany. bad news for me. The great thing: It only took one instead of for weeks. I've been using the keyboard for a few hours now and I am a great fan alread. Love it.
Nevertheless I can already tell that even with the second Version of the K2 you'd definitely need something to put your wrist on. For long hours of typing I am afraid it might become a bit exhausting.
All in all I got what I wanted and they hold what they promise- 5/5 stars. :) keep grinding guys (Y)
I was looking for a mechanical keyboard for my work-laptop that is a MacBook and I'm just so used to type on the apple 60% Bluetooth that I was afraid to never find a keyboard that would work perfectly with the mac but still allows for a great typing experience.
After harassing the poor people of keychron to make an ISO-layout version of the K2 keyboard I bought it immediately and I gotta say it's one of the best keyboards so far that I got! (And I got too many mechanical keyboards already....)
Can't recommend enough & props to Keychron to listening to their customers and adding layouts! Great Job!
My first mechanical keyboard and very happy with it. Rare match of Wireless, Mac, and DE-ISO layout. Great quality, especially for the price. Gateron Blue is very clicky (yummy), order brown instead if you are uncertain and would like to have tactile feedback. I wish: Make all your keyboard models also in ISO-DE and offer separate PBT ISO-DE keycaps. You cannot find these anywhere else. People will love to exchange the keycaps, mix and match and not only the ANSI users.
Shipping to Germany went flawless. Keep an eye on two-step tracking and you can see daily progress on the way to you: Check shipment provider first, last mile shipment provider after.
This is the best keyboard so far but also not perfect. Not sure what it is but I'm switching between Windows and Mac regularly and sometimes there is the Issue that the layout isn't switched correctly: Mac CMD+Space doesn't work, needs some "off" - "BT" - "off- "BT" toggle to work, same on Windows. Other than that it's a really nice keyboard.
