Very Happy with the addition of a split!

Was very happy with my previous purchase of Keychron and had to have this one as it is a very different layout than I have already. I added some DCX keycaps from drop to it for a different look and those fit perfectly even the split spacebar! VIA works just fine as the directions say and have remapped some keys and setup the macro keys. Enjoy the double knob (not removeable). I would recommend as its a great keyboard to add to the collection

Out of the box, this keyboard is close to my endgame

This is a beautiful keyboard. It's solid without being heavy. It looks and feels great. And it sounds great too! It's easy to flip between Windows and Mac and comes with keycaps for both.

There are some things that keep it from being my endgame, but it's customizable enough that I can fix it:

- I prefer silent switches, but it's hot swappable, so I can swap out for Zilents.

- the Fn key is in the wrong place on the left side but I used VIA to reprogram it. However VIA desktop doesn't work at all with this keyboard and VIA web only works if you drag on a custom layout file. Keycron provides good instructions however.

- there are no wrist rests, either built in our loose, so I have to provide my own.

- the keycaps are kinda boring and not shine through which is a shame cuz the board has great RGB, fully customizable with VIA.

- the cable that connects the two halves is too short - I like to put my trackpad in the middle, but a standard USB C cable works as a replacement

Overall, this is a great keyboard and with some work can go right to the top of my list. Recommended!

OSA Profile Double-shot PBT Keycaps

These double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and has an SA-like shape. We named it the OSA (OEM spherical angled) keycap. The PBT keycaps will provide excellent oil resistance, enhance the type feel, and prevent the legends from fading out.

Get the Q11 keymap working on VIA

Since the VIA code for the Q11 is still awaiting approval from Github, it is not yet automatically recognized, so you will need to manually download and import the Q11 keymap.

To get started, please follow the steps: Download the appropriate kemap JSON file below, open VIA, turn on "Show Design tab" on "Settings" tab, and drag the JSON file into the “Design” tab on VIA to get the Q11 keymap working on VIA.

Hot-swappable

The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change the switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3 pin and 5 pin MX mechanical switches.

South-facing RGB LED Lights

The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle with the premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the users install OEM or Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the keyboard.

Pre-lubed Gateron G Pro Switch

By optimizing the switch mold, the Gateron G Pro switch wobbles less than a standard mechanical switch and feels smoother on each hit. Plus, the factory pre-lubed process on all the G Pro switches (excluding the clicky ones), no doubt this will ensure the best smoothness at your fingertips when typing.

All New Screw In PCB Stabilizers

All New Screw-in PCB Stabilizers

The screw-in design increases stability and makes it easier for changes and upgrades. Precise craftsmanship makes the stabilizers more stable and less shaky. The big keys’ (space bar, shift, enter, delete) typing experience is now more stable and smooth. The Keychron Q11 also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.
