The Q16 HE 8K uses advanced Tunnel Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensors, offering exceptional accuracy and ultra-high sensitivity. MAGNETIC SWITCH
Last Key Priority (LKP) & Snap Click
LKP allows seamless directional changes by prioritizing the last key pressed, ensuring smoother gameplay in titles like Valorant. With Snap Click, deeper keypresses take precedence when two keys are hit at once, automatically resetting shallower presses.

These keycaps combine Cherry’s iconic ergonomic profile with the durability and refined touch of premium ceramic.
Switches
Elevate the typing experience with a combination of premium acoustic foams such as sound absorbing foam and latex.
Plate
Made from CNC aluminum, it provides essential structural support by stabilizing switches, influencing the typing feel and sound, and ensuring durability.
Sound absorbing foam
The sound absorbing foam can help dampen echo and unwanted noise when typing, it can deliver a cleaner sound.
PCB
The circuit board that registers keystrokes; hot-swappable versions allow easy switch changes.
Latex Bottom Pad

Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Q16 HE 8K comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.

CUSTOMIZE
HOT-SWAPPABLE
Unlike mechanical switches, which depend on physical contact, Hall Effect magnetic switches use magnets to detect key presses. It is effortless to swap out the switch with compatible Hall Effect magnetic switches.
*The Q16 HE 8K currently isn't compatible with Gateron, Jade, or other magnetic switches.
BACKLIGHT
NORTH-FACING RGB led lights
The North-facing RGB is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle with the premium non-shine-through ceramic keycaps installed. It is also free from interference when the user installs Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on their keyboard.
